From "My Lifeblood ~ Writing" So this post is probably overdue. I've talked about my characters a good bit, but not the worlds they live in. Which is a pity. Really. Because I put a lot of creativity into them. From "my Lifeblood ~ Writing" So here goes: From "The Dragon Books"  The Kingdom of Fire and Ice from The Dragons' Stones and The Dragon's Skin  is a magical kingdom from an oral children's story. It doesn't exist in one set place, but instead, it is reached by completing a quest. What is the quest? You have to unravel the story's riddles to learn that. Characteristics of the Kingdom are (of course) fire and ice. These are seen through the coloring of natives and animals.
