2021 Goals

From "Life Truths"

I'm still in the midst of quarantine. I've had a few hard days. I've struggled to stay motivated. I've watched way too many movies. It's been a moment. But hey, I'm alive, and that's what counts.

From "Bullet Journal Inspiration"

So when I've had the energy, I've been setting up my 2021 bullet journal. I dropped the ball on my bujo during my move back in August but have picked it up again. I'm excited to carry it forward into the new year. (Let me know if y'all are interested in seeing more of that in 2021.)

One thing I'm using my bullet journal for is my goals and hopes for the coming year. And though I've kept it simple, I did want to share them here as I've done in the past. Then, one day, at the end of 2021, we'll look back at them ans see how I did.

  1. PERSONAL GROWTH ~ There are areas in my life that I'm not happy with. I won't go into detail here, but I want to look at back at the end of 2021 and see that I'm a better person.
  2. MENTAL HEALTH ~ This kind of goes hand in hand with the last one. I've struggled with depression and suicide for years now. I'm in a better space now than I've ever been before, but there's still room for improvement.
  3. SAVINGS ACCOUNT ~ This seems small after the first two, but quarantine has motivated me to be more responsible to save.
  4. WRITE ~ I'm not sure what exactly I want to aim for in my writing. I've toyed with the idea of a daily or weekly word goal. Again, not sure, but I know I want to find joy through my words again.
  5. BLOG ~ I was pretty hit or miss with regular posting this year. I tried to maintain a schedule, and that didn't work. But I want to post at least twice a month in 2021.
  6. EXERCISE ~ I've worked out a little during quarantine and realized that I actually missed it. So while I don't want to be really strict, I'm hoping to exercise twice a week moving forward.
Well, that's a weird, mis-matched list if I've seen one. I wonder what it'll look like at the end of 2021. Next time, I'm going to look at 2020 and evaluate the year as a whole. Be sure to be on the look out for that. (Plus, I'll also be posting a picture of my cat, Onyx, so y'all can see how much she's grown since we found her back in April.)

See y'all then, okay? Be safe and stay healthy.
